The Studying Stocks API gives you standardized fundamentals for listed US companies, built from SEC EDGAR filings, and our own free cash flow valuation. It is a read-only JSON API.

  • Our data only. Every value comes from SEC EDGAR filings (public domain) or from our own calculations on them. Calculated items (free cash flow, ROIC, debt to free cash flow, the valuation) are marked as such in the line items guide.
  • Source-linked. Responses link to the company's SEC filings, so you can check a value where it was reported.
  • Built for developers and AI agents. One version, a few endpoints, an OpenAPI 3.1 document, llms.txt and a skill file for agents.
